Most small businesses can not afford a full time IT staff. When you have computer problems you call whoever is available at the time, whether it’s the local Computer Company, or the computer whiz next door. With so many different hands on the network, more problems are bound to arise. Your network is the heart of your company. You have come to rely on it to help you and your employees get through the day. When it goes down, it’s like someone just tried to trip you.

You can’t afford to have your network down, but you also can’t afford a full time staff to maintain your computers. Or can you?

SEKNet Solutions specialize in small business IT solutions. With our Remote Administration program we can maintain your computers for you from anywhere. A fully versed staff at your fingertips. We will setup your computers, maintain your network, and configure your antivirus software. If your network crashes and has to be up immediately, we are there to work on your system.

 

Response Time:

Our Remote Administration customers have priority status. If multiple businesses call for support, then Remote Admin. customers are assisted first. If several Remote Admin. customers call with problems, then refer to below chart for priority situations.

Features:

What does Remote Administration cover?
  1. A monthly report that shows which computers had been assaulted by viruses.
  2. A monthly report that shows your network traffic.
  3. Any customized reports that you request.
  4. Watch lists for known programs that are harmful to business PC’s.
  5. Recommended software that will help keep your business running smooth.
  6. Maintaining server permissions and settings.
  7. Monthly complete server backup in case your server ever goes down.
  8. Virus infection due to vulnerabilities in the network. ( We use Trend Micro Network Security to maintain your network security. The cost of the software is billed separately. We are not responsible for virus protection if any other antivirus program is used unless authorized by SEKNet. )
  9. Any network troubleshooting. (There is no charge for network troubleshooting, hardware is not covered.)
What does Remote Administration not cover?
  1. Adding hardware (i.e. a new computer) to the network has a setup fee. Once it is configured it will be added to your monthly package.
  2. Hardware replacement costs (i.e. a power supply goes out on a computer the power supply itself is not covered and will be billed separately).
  3. Troubleshooting internet connection past the modem is not covered, that is generally covered by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
  4. Viruses that infect the network brought in through e-mail or 3rd party programs.
  5. Spyware – it has been a major source of computer problems for several years. In most cases the source of spyware can be tracked back to games that were downloaded from the internet, or to websites not appropriate for a business environment. Trend Micro Security software will catch most, but in cases where Trend Micro cannot remove the spyware we must remove it manually.
  6. Network and PC troubleshooting for downtime due to unauthorized software.
  7. Contracted work. If you have a specialized device that requires work and we do not have a technician with the knowledge to troubleshoot, we must contract that work out and it will be billed separately at the contractors rate.
  8. Fonality phone system, back up and recovery, is not included in this package at this time
